Security Information

Because sensitive information is transmitted during the Loan Application process, we have implemented a High Assurance 256-Bit SSL Certificate. SSL works by using a public key to encrypt data that is sent over a secure connection. The padlock icon in the status bar of your browser, and the "https://" prefix in your browser's address bar verifies that the SSL is active. (If it is not active, make sure that the address in your address bar starts with http://www.tnbidco.com/)

SSL Certifiactes are digital certificates that verify the identity of the website to visitors, and encrypts all data transmited over that website's server via SSL. The certificate acts as a "passport" or "ID". When a user submits data on the website, the browser retrives the server's digital certificate and creates a secure connection.

In order to get a certificate, TNBIDCO had to first submit a request to a trusted certification authority, which identitified our businesses' identity, existance, and domain ownership before issuing the certificate.

In addition to the SSL, we also have hard coded many additional security and encryption methods into the page. Rest assured that your information will be safe transmitted over our servers.
